Head for la Corse in november

Corsica unveils its incredible treasures every month of the year. In November, Castagniccia region chestnut trees
and Vizzavona beech and birches take on orangey shades and lose their leaves, as such totally contrasting with evergreen trees such as laricio pine, holly oak and maritime pine.
The water flaunts a great 18°C and wonderful sunny days await you yet it may snow in high altitudes or rain here and there.

Heading to Corsica in November also means discovering the island in a more intimate way and taking part
in iconic events that are a source of pride for Corsicans. Corsican cold cuts, wines and cheeses
will, of course, be centre staged and will delight your taste buds throughout your stay on the island.

Weather in Corsica in November

Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, Corsica enjoys warm, dry summers and rainy winters with rather mild temperatures.

The weather in Haute-Corse in November invites to enjoy sunny weather with temperatures of around 20°C. And, for the most seasoned among you, the water's at 18°C so you can still swim.
It may rain for a few hours from time to time, but it never lasts long, yet it's good to know if ever you're heading out
for a trek, a hike or a stroll.

In Southern Corsica, the weather's cooler in November because of the sea wind.
Morning temperatures are mild, evenings are quite fresh as dusk sets in along the coast and there may be spells of snow inland. Yet, it's still wonderful to visit Southern Corsica at this time, just remember to take warm clothes when you go out.

Visit Saint Florent in november

Saint-Florent, an old medieval town, is situated between Cap Corse and Agriates Desert.
Back in the 15th century, it was protected by a citadel as it was one of Corsica's trading hubs.

Saint-Florent citadel now hosts exhibitions and also invites to admire a breathtaking view over the bay.
Take time out to wander around the streets and alleyways to discover a myriad of Corsican artists and craftspeople's galleries.

désert des agriates

Agriates desert

Agriates Desert is located between Balagne and Nebbio. It offers an outstanding contrast of
landscapes as it opens onto the Mediterranean Sea yet, to the south, is fringed by the Serra di
Tenda mountain range.

In spite of its name, it's not a desert, it's an area where livestock were bred and crops were
grown in the past. Head off for a hike or a trek through Agriates Desert to explore and admire the amazing variety of maquis species: strawberry trees, myrtles, olive trees, heathers, maritime pines, etc.
