Carbon footprint

The carbon footprint is a indicator that aims to measure the impact of an activity on the environment, and more specifically the greenhouse gas emissions linked to this activity.

This footprint is expressed in "carbon dioxide equivalent" or "CO2e". For the sake of simplicity and standardization, a single CO2 standard is used for all greenhouse gases.

The data in the table will enable you to assess the CO2e emissions linked to your crossing by the ship concerned. They are calculated on the basis of consumption and loadings (freight and passengers) for the previous year.

Cabins on-board the Piana

Our cabins can accommodate up to 4 people. They are equipped with adjustable air conditioning, a shower room with toilet and a TV to guarantee maximum comfort during your trip between Marseille and Ajaccio. A cosy comforter and bathroom linen complete this equipment.

La Méridionale offers you two bottles of Corsican spring water and provides towels, shower gel and soap.

A "Pullman" style armchair lounge is located on deck 8, with showers and toilets, and a nearby individual luggage locker (you'll need a €1 coin to use them).
